When you are going out in the morning you will dress according to what you are planning to do that day. Your physical dress will, many times, identify your role; for
instance a policeman’s uniform identifies his role, etc. St. Paul, in his letter to the Ephesian Church says we should dress for what we are going to do each day.
“Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the tactics of the Devil.” [Ephesians 6:11, HCSB] We are engaged in a spiritual battle each day, and we must be prepared.
We dare not try to do battle with Satan on our own. We have the Holy Spirit within us and God has provided a full armor with which we are to be clothed each day.
“Stand, therefore, with truth like a belt around your waist, righteousness like armor on your chest, and your feet sandaled with readiness for the gospel of peace.
In every situation take the shield of faith, and with it you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet
of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is God’s word. My face book Bible study is based on this passage. I urge you to read this in
your favorite translation and be prepared for the battle you know is coming. (Eph. 6:10-18) St. Paul begins this section with, “Finally, be strengthened by the Lord and by
His vast strength,” and closes with, “Pray at all times in the Spirit with every prayer and request, and stay alert in this with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints.
” Don’t go out without being properly dressed. Let’s show love for each other by praying one for the other during this hard time.

You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; you have loosed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness,
that my glory may sing your praise and not be silent.
O LORD my God, I will give thanks to you forever!” – Psalm 30:11-12
